Augusta National. It is the "Cathedral of Pines," a place where the azaleas are perfectly timed to bloom and the greens are as fast as a marble countertop. Every April, the world’s best golfers descend on Georgia for The Masters, chasing the legendary Green Jacket.
Whether it’s the treacherous waters of Amen Corner or the towering magnolias lining the driveway, Augusta is more than just a course—it’s a masterpiece.

The "Amen Corner" (Holes 11, 12, and 13)
This is the most famous three-hole stretch in golf. It’s where the tournament is usually won or lost.
Hole 11 (White Dogwood): A brutal 520-yard par 4. Most players are happy to walk away with a par here.
Hole 12 (Golden Bell): At only 155 yards, it's the shortest hole on the course, but the swirling winds and Rae's Creek make it a "card wrecker." It’s the site of some of the most famous meltdowns in history (like Jordan Spieth in 2016).
Hole 13 (Azalea): A classic "risk-reward" par 5. Players can try to hit the green in two to eagle, but a tributary of Rae’s Creek protects the front of the green.
Historic Landmarks
Magnolia Lane: The 330-yard entrance lined with 60 magnolia trees that were planted in the 1850s.
The Crow's Nest: A small living space at the top of the clubhouse where the amateur players stay during the tournament.
Bridges: The Hogan Bridge (Hole 12) and Nelson Bridge (Hole 13) are named after legends who conquered these holes to win their jackets.
